GOOP

Mix these well:

  • 2 Cups of Elmer's White Glue
1 1/2 Cups of cool water
a few drops of desired food color

Mix to dissolve

  • 1 Tablespoon of Borax
    1 Cup of water

Slowly combine the two mixtures and knead together.

GOOP is enjoyed by both kids and adults! It is stretchy and cool and smooth to the touch.  It can be cut with scissors, bounced, molded, squeezed, etc.  It keeps the shape in which it is stored, and lasts for one month in a sealed container.

A Poem about GOOP

Has your day been filled with stress?
Goop can save you from this mess.

Feeling tense and kind of jerky?
Goop can make you feel real perky.

Would you like to feel more calm?
Put Goop in your sweaty palm.

Squeeze it to relieve the tension.
Mash it down, and did I mention...

You can hold it up and let it drip?
It will slide right through your grip.

Cut it up, just like a cake.
Stretch it out and it will break.

You can mold it for a while,
but Goop will soon melt in a pile.

Life just cannot get you down
as long as there is Goop around.

Poem by Judy Taylor
